living in an apartment the warrior princess gets little chance to see the real world. apart from her visits to the vet, saturday 13th may was Xena's first day at the Metropolitan Park, Penang. She was unsure at first how to deal with the feeling of the grass and 2 legged folk all around. It didn't take long till she was exploring and sniffing and a few other bodily functions too boot! 1.5 hours was not quite enough but a good start ! She seemed blissfully ignorant of the sign that said.. no pets!! even though there was a picture , she just refused to take the hint!

this is the early morning view from Xena's balcony. If she was a 'beany bit' taller, she would certainly be impressed... in the distance is the penang bridge from the island to the mainland. 13 Kms and built in the early 80s. very congested now... down below is a sports ground which she would love to be better aquainted with.

Xena lives on the 20th floor on the balcony. Her house is similar to her relatives in Launceston, slightly art deco and built around 1939 ish.. she is shown delicately eating her lunch, with the paper she was reading in the background. Xena is not sure of the significance of the cross above her door. The hotel's carpenter thought it was for the best....
